Wonderful Bike Trails in the Parker Area

FlickrIf you are looking for fun family-friendly things to do in Parker, CO this summer, how about a nice relaxing bike ride at one of the many fantastic bike trails in the Parker area? 

Austin Bluffs Trail is a bit over two miles long, and connects the north and east sides of the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. A highlight on the trail is Palmer Park.

The Big Dry Creek Trail runs twelve miles between Standley Lake and Interstate 25. It is a flat trail with moderate grade, ideal for a fun bike ride.

Briargate Trail, located in northern Colorado Springs, runs a little over two miles in length. It takes you through gorgeous scenery and is located near shopping and restaurants.

Cherry Creek Spillway Trail is three miles long and offers a breathtaking view of the Denver skyline in the distance. This concrete trail winds near and through some stellar parks as well, so bring a picnic basket!
