FlickrLooking for fun summer events in Parker, CO? Look no further than the annual Let Freedom Sing! Independence Day celebration at Salisbury Park. This fun, family-friendly festival features oodles of activities for kids and those adults who are still kids at heart. The festival has everything you’ll need for a festive 4th of July, from live music, a kid’s zone, food vendors, and fireworks.

The ever-popular kid’s zone features bouncy inflatable castles, interactive games, balloon art, and a bubble tower for the little ones, as well as a gigantic slide, rock climbing wall, and obstacle course for the bigger kids (and adults). The music kicks off at 6:00 pm with Under the Radar, followed by Rocky Mountain Brassworks at 7:00 pm, and Buckstein at 8:00 pm.

Bring your own picnic basket and blanket, or sample a culinary treat from one of the many vendors at the festival, such as funnel cake, ice cream, or a burrito. Food vendor highlights are Chick-Fil-A, Old Time Kettle Korn, and Snow Business Shaved Ice.

This year’s festival is going to be one of the best, and as always, admission is free. Come out with your family and spend a wonderful Independence Day under the stars at Salisbury Park!
