Arsenic and Old Lace Live at Chaparral High School
Just after Halloween (with its dark humor it would have been perfect for Halloween), the Chaparral High School Theater will show Arsenic and Old Lace.
The story centers around a newsman named Mortimer Brewster and the startling discoveries he makes about his family. Visiting his two maiden aunts he discovers the old ladies have a startling secret behind their charming hospitality. And there is a dark side to his harmless uncle’s seemingly harmless insanity of believing himself to be Teddy Roosevelt digging the Panama Canal.
Don’t miss the chance to watch this hilarious classic performed live by members of the local community.
