Of all the many family-friendly things to do in Parker, back to school shopping could certainly be the most important at this time of year. Back to school shopping is a great opportunity for parents to spend some bonding time with their kids. However, it can be tiring and expensive. Here are a few tips for making your back to school shopping experience a bit easier and more fun:

Plan to do your shopping over the course of a few days. Shopping for shoes, clothing, and school supplies all in the same day is a little much. It will probably exhaust you and make things less fun. Why not plan to shop for clothes and shoes on one day and notebooks and pencils on another?

Another tip for making things go more smoothly is to take an inventory of what you have and what you need before leaving the house. You may not need to purchase any notebooks if you have any extra ones at home. An inventory of the leftover school supplies you have at home will reveal this.
